The same could be said of <my> dog(s). Whether you rephrase it to say, "Home is where the dog is" or "Dog is where the heart is" either would be accurate. This crossed my mind as I reflected upon the many on-line friends who have recently posted about the loss of their long-time furry companions. I still miss my Murphy who left me in 2007 and know that I will also miss my Max when his time comes. I knew that going in and told him that some day he would break my heart. But the unconditional love is all well worth it and I know my grieving friends feel the same. This post is in loving memory of our pets ... Murphy, Mali, Misu, Minya, and others names unknown.
