Hi! Thanks so much for the comments on my blog. The number of potential titles for my art piece (the one with wrapped&stitched wooden spools in a cradle) has grown to an entire typed page! So many of the suggestions truly resonate with me ... making the ultimate choice more difficult than I thought possible. Yet, I'm really glad that I "asked the world" on my blog because it gave me a chance to see just how a single piece of art is viewed so differently ... depending upon the person viewing it. I would have never thought about drums, but three people, including you, did! How interesting!
Anyway, I left this comment on this post because it is nearly a year old ... was starting a blog a "New Year's Resolution"? If so, promise yourself the same thing again! Blogging can be a very rewarding person experience ... especially for an artist. The positive things come from the act of writing ... recording your intentions, your work, your progress, and your thoughts about art. I've been blogging for well over four years. I think my work grows in new and wonderful directions because I regularly write about it on my blog. The writing helps define my thoughts most accurately. So ... give it another whirl. Good Luck Thanks again for your response on my blog! Susan
